REACTIONS: Every girl wants romance when they're in a relationship, right? Wrong. Dallas Fisher wanted nothing to do with romance, all she wanted was a quick bit of fun, and the money that came with it. Well, she got that with Jamson Hanson. Too bad for her, he left her with a little surprise a few months later. Three months after her little fling with the congressman, Dallas found out she was pregnant. With twins. Wanting more money because of the selfish woman she was, she blackmailed the man into money. If he didn't give it to her, she would let the media know that he had fathered twins to a whore.
Not wanting his reputation to be ruined, he complied with Dallas. He would send her 2, 000 dollars a month to support the children. Too bad that Dallas just spend it on drugs and booze. The children, Scout and Samuel were named by the nurses in the hospital because Dallas simply shrugged, and said, she didn't care what they were called. Scout and Samuel were lucky they survived their infant years. As they grew older, they relied on each other. Scout soon became the main provider of the family, well of her and Samuel.
Samuel focused mainly on school while Scout manged to always get herself into trouble. Whether it be getting suspended from school or getting arrested for petty theft, she was always in trouble. When Scout was sixteen a lot of things happen to her. She was raped by a man, who got her pregnant. Not knowing how to deal with it, Dallas called Jamson. Deciding that Dallas was an unfit mother, he decided to come clean to his wife about the affair so that he could help his children. Marilyn had hate for these kids, more so Scout then Samuel.
While trying to adjust to life as a pregnant teen, Scout also started to see things. Not just things, but people. They would talk to her, and ask her to do things for them. Once the baby was born, Scout gave her up for adoption, not wanting to keep the child. For two years, Scout kept her big secret until she started getting into drugs. Samuel would often find her passed out at some guy's house, high as a kite. Worried for her, Samuel told Jamson. He then sent her to rehab, which wasn't actually rehab at all. Scout has been at "rehab" for six months without contact from her family.

Lukas had really surprised Ryder when he had informed her that he had bought a club just for her. Of course, this was a few weeks ago, but it still shocked her that he would do that for her. Gage had insisted it was some ploy, and there was more to it then what Lukas was letting on. Sometimes Ryder just didn’t understand why Gage hated Lukas so much. He was their dad, and the guy who provided for them. From what Lukas had told her, he had saved her from a life time of cruelty from her true parents. Gage often scoffed at his words. Ryder knew that Gage was older then her, and remembered more of his previous life then she did, and he said he often missed his parents. They had been kind people. Ryder didn’t know who her true parents were, and she had been banned from finding out. Marilyn had gone berserk when she had asked about them. Ryder had learned from then on, never ask about her parents. Sometimes Ryder wondered what they were like, but decided they weren’t worth Lukas hurting her.
With a quiet sigh, Ryder went to her closet to get dressed for another night at the club. She slipped out of her sweats and hoodie, and slipped on the new dress Marilyn had bought for her. It wasn’t really her style, but Marilyn said she had better get use to a new style or else Lukas was going to have a fit. They had bought her all new clothes, and Ryder was kind of upset about it. She didn’t have a lot of t-shirts or jeans anymore, and they were her comfort clothes. Once her dress was on, Ryder walked to the little bathroom in her room, and started applying light make up, and that was when Lukas, Gage, and Marilyn stormed into her room. She could sense that they were all frantic, and upset about something, but she was sure what. She walked out of the bathroom, and Lukas was pacing the room, Marilyn perched on top of the dresser, and Gage, well Gage was glaring at Lukas. “She’ll need a body guard then,”

It was one of those conversations that Ryder wasn’t allowed to hear because Marilyn wanted her to contain her innocence. Ryder pouted when Marilyn sat her down in the chair, and began to curl her hair. “Why can’t I know what’s going on?[/color]” Ryder asked Marilyn. She wanted to know what was going on, especially if it involved her. Marilyn stared at her through the mirror, and said, “Oh nothing, just some silly tussle that your father got into. He’s just worried about you. You’re special, remember?[/color]” Ryder looked at Marilyn quizzically, but said nothing more. Lukas always told Ryder that she was special because of her gifts, but Ryder didn’t see how they were that special. After an hour, Marilyn finally decided that she looked good enough to go out in public. When Ryder was putting on her shoes, she saw Gage and another boy walk in. When she looked at the boy, she found him somewhat attractive. He had light blonde hair, and moss green eyes. She couldn’t help but stare. With a slight nudge, Marilyn pushed her forward, and they headed to the club.
Ryder knew that the club was supernatural’s only. Only on occasion did a human get in, and that was because a vampire brought them, but that was very, very rare. Lukas didn’t want humans medaling in his business. With a slight sigh, Ryder walked into the club, and went straight towards the stage to start setting up. It only took twenty minutes to set, and before she knew it, people were crowding into the club. Ryder began, and played for an hour straight. She needed a break, that's for sure. The DJ took over, and she went to grab a drink.
