Alik shuddered, opening his eyes, head spinning. He looked at Kira, who motioned him to hurry and helped him sit up.
Alik swallowed, bringing a hand to his head again and taking Zakk's hand to get up. He watched Kira scamper back to the table the guy had been spread out on, tryingto distract them so Zakk could get out of the dining hall unnoticed. Alik tugged him to the door, stumbling unsteadily.

Zakk'ri walked slowly, figuring if he was to hurry he would just draw more attention to them. He squeezed his brother's hand gently between his own, looking back as he heard foot steps growing close behind him. "Run!" He told his brother, darting for the door. But there was someone there too. So he pulled his brother back through the serving line. He looped around, bolting for the door they'd come in. He pulled his brother out the main doors, and around the back of another building. "You okay?" He asked, slowly stroking his cheek, his breathing labored.

Alik followed him breathlessly, leaning against the wall once they were out. "Fine..." He mumbled, rubbing at his temples. "They shut up...it's okay." He looked at his brother's wrists, chewing on his lip. If there's one thing Alik was, it was an escape artist. He'd been locked in rooms, tied to things by his mother plenty. "Maybe if we go back to your room they won't be as mad.." He mumbled, rubbing at the cut on the underside of his arm. It originally would have needed stitches, but had healed to the point of being raw and unbleeding even though it had been inflicted just that morning.

"You really are related to me and Kira, talking like you're crazy." Zakk'ri teased, pressing a gentle kiss to his forehead. He took the boy's hand in between his, slowly starting to walk. "I don't wanna go back. I go back and then they're gonna take you from me and that's not right. I have to take care of you." He said, squeezing his brother's hand. If there was one thing he was going to do, it would be take care of Alik. The boy was his world. "So we aren't gonna go back. We're gonna keep walking until.. I guess until they find us."

Alik frowned some at the comment, not exactly liking it. But it was Zakk so he shrugged it off. "Okay.." He mumbled, thinking that either way they would take him away. They had already threatened Alik, told him they would force his brother to watch him be hurt if he didn't cooperate. He reached around in his pocket and pulled out a pin, taking his brother's wrists and working the locks on the cuffs until they clicked off.

Zakk'ri watched him work on the cuffs, glad when they'd finally came off. He wrapped his arms around the younger boy, hugging him tightly. "I love you, Alik. I'm never gonna let anyone hurt you, okay?" He breathed, slowly running his fingers through his brother's hair. "Let's go see if my look-alike is wandering around." He said, slipping his fingers between his brother's. He walked slowly, swinging their hands gently. He chewed on his lip, looking around at everything surrounding them. "It was awful without you here, you know.."

Alik hugged him tight. "I'm sorry..got here as soon as I could.." He mumbled. He didn't dare tell Zakk'ri what they were doing to him, though, or how they were testing it. He took his brother's hand tightly, yelping as the second one dropped from the wall about them. Kira laughed and Alik stuck his tongue out, burying his face in Zakk's shoulder.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

"What are you, spider man?!" Zakk'ri asked, reaching over with his free hand to run his fingers through Alik's hair. "And stop scaring him! He's gonna end up screaming and then they're really gonna find us, you bitch." Zakk'ri punched him in the shoulder, glaring at him. He's always been defensive over the smaller boy. He slowly started walking, holding tightly to Alik's hand.

Kira complained, shoving his brother. "I didn't mean to," He groaned. Alik just held onto Zakk's hand, watching Kira begin to climb the wall again in awe. But he froze when his brother did, motioning to them to go the other way. Alik took a step back, moving closer to the wall before beginning to back up.[/blockquote

Zakk'ri watched his brother climb the wall, amazed at how he did that. But then again, he could tell you where Alik was at any given time. And whatever other odd objects or people they'd forced him to track. He slowly stepped back, watching Kira before he started to walk back, holding tightly to his brother's hand. He didn't want to be forced to leave now. He'd just gotten to see his brother. And he would fight them tooth and nail over him too.

Alik kept close to him, watching the other older male pull himself onto the edge of the roof, then disappear over the top. There was a tussle on the other side of the building and silence, then Kira rounded the corner with a smirk. "Be off." He teased, wrinkling his nose. Alik smiled faintly.
'Think. Where might they not go look first?'
"We could go to the gym, or the pool.. there's not a lot of people there this time of day..." He murmured uncertainly.

Zakk'ri jumped when his twin rounded the corner, not expecting him to be there. "You really are spiderman, you fucking freak." He said. But he couldn't be too mad. He felt like everyone around here was a freak in one way or another. Even the staff. "Okay." He said quietly, squeezing his brother's hand gently. He started walking, keeping an eye out for any staff who might report them. He wasn't too worried about the lower staff.

Kira flipped him off, bouncing along ahead of them, making faces at random guys they passed. Alik however didn't leave Zakk'ri's side, wanting to spend as much time as possible with him, not sure when they'd keep them apart again. He swung their hands slowly back and forth. "You think...you could try and be a little better? At least for a few days...so they let me be with you more?"

Zakk'ri slowly swung their hands, looking over at his brother as he spoke. He hated being told what to do. Almost as much as he hated someone messing with Alik. "How am I supposed to be good when they're a bunch of idiots? You and I both know I can't control my anger. I'm always mad." He leaned over, kissing the side of his brother's head. "But yeah, I guess I can try. As long as they stop being like a bunch of morons." He offered. He wasn't sure how long he could stick to it, but he was willing to try.

Alik huffed. "I know," He mumbled. "I just miss spending time with you."He watched Kira open the door to the pool room and disappear inside, and pulled Zakk a little quicker, ducking after him and looking out towards the water happily.
