[/b] he tries to keep and even mind no matter what is going on. he likes to be chill, kinda go with the flow, and is willing to debate things if they catch his attention. he is restricted as to most his emotions unless he thinks that they should be voiced for a reason. he often speaks his mind; whatever's on it, but there's a lot he doesn't say, too. he can be moody and stubborn as hell. opinionated, though normally calm and slightly cynical, and he tends to use reason in this more then violent action.

he's inquisitive and nosy at times, wanting to know more about everything, and sometimes he has a need to physically inspect certain things that interest him so he can understand them better. he tries to be kind and helpful to most anybody, even when they aren't so very nice to him. however, once he's been hurt by someone, he does all he can to avoid them. he can get tense and irritable if he's lacking in the 'getting some' field, and can have a bit of a 'i don't give a shit' attitude sometimes.

REACTIONS: his mom left when he was nine, his brother milo was six. one morning they just woke up and she was gone. dad was a wreck for a little while, and bastian ended up being more reclusive and a bit of an emotional mess over it. he ended up using the attention from others as a way to cope with his mother's passing. he kept it hidden from everyone for as long as he could, of course.

bastian seemed to ease into the life at the boardinghouse, finding his niche quickly enough and keeping his activities from coming to light to his family. but it was when milo ended up getting caught for the gambling addiction that bastian finally admitted to his own addiction. after that, it didn't take long for him to be thrown right into the same place as his younger brother.
