[/b] Tanner is a strange individual by all definitions. He hates human contact but thrives from human interaction. He loves to be in the dark but hates to be alone. Everything he does is contradictory. The only thing he really does to that can't misjudged in anyway is when he helps someone. See, Tanner has a quirk, an Achilles’ heel if you will. One that has been dubbed his Hercules complex. See ever since Tanner was young and unable to save himself or his twin brother, he'd been plagued with the need to save everyone. If you're introuble he'll try his absolute hardest to save you and take is as a personal failure if he cannot. Even if he hates you should the time come, Tanner has to save you.

Tanner had been abused by his adopted family and because of it he's become weary of people. He doesn't like to talk or associate himself with any of the other patients. Instead he spends his time reading books and talking to animals to stave off the growing loniness he feels inside. He doesn't easily trust nor does he quite believe in love, but he'd be more than happy if he found it.Despite being weary with people Tanner can act quite normal, as long as he's behind a computer screen and frequents in the chatrooms for the school.

REACTIONS: Tanner would love to say he had a nice, happy life full of the normal story-book things like a white picket fence and laughter. But he didn't. Instead Tanner was born like every other kid and had a twin brother named Colton. They both lost their parents at the age of four and were immediately introduced into the foster care system. Things were good because they were still together. However at the age of nine his twin brother was involved in an altercation that resulted in the loss of vision in one of his eyes and Tanner always blamed himself for not being able to take the punishment for his brother. Soon after this Tanner was adopted by the Kings and had his last named changed to match theirs. Once there he was subjected to his drunken mothers every whim and was often the replacement for his fathers fantasy. Right before his eighteenth birthday his family sent him to this "academy" in hopes that no one would ever find out what exactly they'd done to him. Now he lives soley in his ward, rarely ever venturing out unless required and has a stolen pet gecko that he got one day during testing of his ability.
