Perseus walked slowly to the room he was supposed to be in. He didn't want to be poked again. Not by needles that didn't numb, anyways. He sat down on the bed, rubbing slowly at his face. Both his snake bites were in today, an odd sight for the twenty year old. He yawned, laying back as he waited for the nurse to come in. 'Hope its the cute one.' He thought. If he was being tortured, may as well make it worth his while.

Zayne walked quietly down thehhalls, his doctor having told him to do bloodwork on Perseus today, nothing more. Zayne always did his best to make the days of the patients a little better. He hated that they were so tortured. It wasn't in his nature to hurt anyone, so he refused to. Blue eyes glanced towards the male in the room and he offered a charming smile his way, closing the door behind himself before picking up Perseus' medical sheet.

Perseus couldn't help but smile back at him, his eyes looking over his face before he quickly looked away. He knew his brother would disapprove. "What's on the chart for today, doc?" He asked, reaching up to play with the wire to the small light on the wall.

Zayne pulled the papers labeled 'bloodwork' out of the folder in his hand and held it out for Perseus to see since he couldn't exactly tell him. He jotted down some things, asking Perseus tolie back and hold his arm out. He handed him the paoer, then turned to pull some gloves on and grab supplies.

Perseus was tempted to say something about already being laying down. But he didn't dare. He held his arm out to the male, looking up at the ceiling. He'd never really been one for needles. Odd, considering his drug of choice. "All ready for you, mister." He said, drawing a knee up.

Zayne gave him another smile. It was hard to be oitright friendly when people not knowing sign language could only read your words off paper. He sat down next to the bed and gently took Perseus' arm, cleaning it gently. He hated doing even bloodwork. They dealt with needles enoigh. He didn't want to be the bad guy. Sorry eyes looked towards the younger male before he gently pressed the syringe into place and extracted a sample from his arm.

Perseus looked up at the ceiling, not really wanting to look at what he was doing. He hated when he or anyone around him started bleeding, even the littlest bit. It was gross. And when Bandit had broken her arm and there was blood everywhere.. It was enough to make him sick just thinking about it. But then again, she was his favorite little person so maybe he was just partial. "I don't know how you do this. It's so nasty." Perseus complained.

Zayne offered a shrug in response, moving the needle over to another vein to draw blood from. He pulled it out as well, attaching the next and taping it to take a larger sample, then reaching for his pen. 'It wasn't my idea to come here. More like I was tricked into it. So, I do my best to make smiles form on the faces of my patients.' He smiled, sliding it over to the young man.

Perseus looked over at the wire in his arm before he read the paper Zayne had written on. "That doesn't make it any less nasty." He said, handing it back to him. He knew he couldn't communicate without it and would feel bad accidentally keeping it. "Are they gonna finally fix my memory or is it really just a hopeless cause?" He asked. They'd been telling him they'd make it better, but it only got worse.
