Alik smiled tiredly. "We like having you here, too... I wish they would let you stay with us. At oeast at night, in the dorm rooms... You wouldn't hurt anyone there if we were in our rooms..." He was so desperate to have that time with him again, instead of having to bein a cell in the hospital in order to see him. He hated seeing Zakk like that, screaming, angry, and like today, hurt.

"We have tonight, Alik. It might be all we have from now on, but we got it." He said quietly. It killed him to think he couldn't sleep next to the boy anymore. But knowing he wasn't his real brother, that might mean disaster. The things he'd been thinking.. he was crazy to begin with, but he didn't want to rub it off on Alik, to make him think it was okay to fall in love with your brother because it wasn't.

Alik's jaw trembled and he just nodded mutely, closing his eyes again. "Aw, don't cry," Kira murmured, reaching to brush tears from the younger boy's face. But he just shrugged him off. "Lemme' alone," He mumbled, curling up further in the warmth of Zakk, and the blankets. He didn't bother even say another word, too afraid that if he opened his mouth he would cry.

Zakk hugged him tighter as he scooted closer, looking over at Kira. He wasn't used to Alik being the one pushing people away. It was usually himself. "Just because you hear voices doesn't mean you're any less Alik than you were. It just- we don't like knowing it bothers you." He offered, kissing his head gently. He hoped Alik wouldn't take it to heart. They just meant well.

Alik wasn't sure if that upset him, or if Zakk saying they couldn't spend more time together did. He runbed at his nose.
"Yeah Alik.. We love you..."
He raised his head to look at Kira quietly, and only nodded, managing a faint smile.

"Close your eyes, little one. It's been a long day." He said quietly, pulling a blanket out from under them. He draped it over Alik, tucking him in carefully. He couldn't be that close to him, thinking it was alright what he was thinking. So he was going to do everything in his power to prevent it.

Alik swallowed when he was tucked into a blanket alone. He adjusted his head back on Zakk's chest and closed his eyes, trembling as he held onto the other male's shirt and blanket. He was lacking a shirt himself, and the bottom half of his jeans. But right now he could care less, as long as Zakk and Kira didn't leave him.
