Mikey looked to each of them in turn, then nodded. 'Yes sir.' He said quietly, smiling up at Cameron. Chelsea took another sip of her smoothie, then walked to the mini fridge to put the rest of it in there to keep it cold. She'd never been one to finish her food. She always left half of whatever it was. Even if it was a small candy bar. She sat back down, hugging her daughter as she climbed into her lap.

"Well, I guess it's settled then." He smirked and wrapped the boy into a hug. It actually made him quite happy to hear the boy say yes. Cameron reached for his water bottle and took a sip. "What would you like to do today?"

Chelsea gently ran her fingers through Adrienne's hair, looking over at Cameron's question. 'I wanna watch movies,' Mikey said, and Adrienne shook her head. 'I wanna play on the swings,' She said, and Chelsea rolled her eyes. "What would you rather do? Watch movies or play on the swings?" She asked Cameron. "I'll take one, you can take the other."

His eyebrow rose slightly at the question. How was he suppose to choose? No matter what choice he made, there was a slight chance of it being thrown back into his face again. "Uh..well," Cameron scratched the back of his head and chewed on his lip. "How am I suppose to choose between the two of them? That'd be like having to choose between ice cream or cake on your birthday. You always get both."

Chelsea chewed on her lip, gently twirling Adrienne's hair around her finger. "How about we go play on the swings, then come and take our baths, and then we can watch movies until bed time." She offered, hoping that would be enough to content the kids for the day. Mikey nodded, then Adrienne, the both of them going off to get dressed for the day.

Everything was going smoothly, and Cameron couldn't help but smile every time he looked to Chelsea. He had always loved these kind of days before and he hoped it continued. "I'm good enough to be seen out in public right?" He ran a hand through his hair and dusted off his t-shirt. "Unless you wanna give me my button down back?" A smirk worked his way onto his lips as he caught her gaze.

Chelsea scoffed, shaking her head. "Over your dead body you'll get that thing back." She said, getting up to walk to the dresser. She pulled out a skirt and one of her shirts, then walked to the bathroom to get dressed. She came back out braiding her hair, both kids in tow. "I swear, we can make a conga line with these two." She teased, leaning over to look under their beds for her shoes.

Laughing to himself, Cameron slowly got to his feet. He unscrewed the cap to his water bottle and chugged a good bit of it while he waited for Chelsea and the kids. "Well, at least you don't have to chase them around." He eyed the two of them. He couldn't think of a time where he wasn't chasing one of them yesterday.

Chelsea looked back at them, then shrugged her shoulders. "It's rare they ever run off." She sat down on the floor, pulling on her shoes. She fastened the clasps on the side, then pulled herself up to her feet. The two children were busy pulling on their shoes. Chelsea motioned for Adrienne to come over, squatting down to braid the little girl's hair.

He made his way to the door, leaning up against it as he watched the kids put their shoes on. "Do you want me to get them some snacks and meet you by the swings since they haven't eaten? Or do you just want to go to cafeteria first?" Cameron was still pretty uneasy about his father skills. He didn't want to give Chelsea any reason to take them away.

"We'll get them snacks after lunch for when they watch the movie. They should probably eat something." She gently took their hands, leading them to the door. "You can bring them outside. I'll go get them some bananas." She rounded them, heading out the door. She started walking towards the cafeteria to get their fruits.

He pulled the door shut, making sure it couldn't pop open before holding one of Mikey's and Adrienne's hands. "I'll meet you outside," Cameron called as he veered down a separate hall that would lead to the swing sets.

Chelsea walked back with a couple of bananas for the kids, and an apple for Cameron. She found them out by the swings, and walked over. She handed both of the children their fruit, then Cameron his before she took a seat on one of the swings.

He took the apple with a smile, twisting it in his hand till the stem popped off. "Thank you," Cameron sunk his teeth into the apple and took a huge chunk out of it. Using his pointer finger, he wiped away the juice that dripped from the corner of his mouth. He walked over behind Chelsea's swing and pushed her lightly, making sure not to get any of the apple juice on her clothes.

Chelsea smiled to herself, gently pumping her legs. She wondered if this was how they'd have been in primary school, pushing each other on the swing. Maybe things would have been better, less scary. "I wanna go to the moon." She said, leaning her head back to look at him. She smiled, wrapping her hands around the chains of the swing.
