A smirk fluttered to his face and he let Mikey down as he spotted Chelsea. "I could go for a nap or two." His eyebrow rose slightly when he realized it was his shirt she had on. "Do you always walk around with just my shirt on?" He had to admit, she looked pretty damn good in it.

Chelsea bent down, putting the soda down behind her so she could hug her babies. She gave them each a kiss on the head, pulling them into her arms as she stood up. "Only when I'm going to bed." She admitted. She only owned one pair of real pajamas now, and had worn those the night before so Cameron wouldn't have to see her in his shirt.

"I still need to get them dinner. I was coming by to see if you wanted to go, but I rather you had pants on.." He trailed off and looked down to watch Adrienne and Mikey. His stomach growled lightly at the mention of food. "I can wait for you to get pants on if you want," It was easy to see he didn't like her being in the hall with just a shirt, even if they were the only ones there at the moment.

"You have no right to say what you do and don't like. I could prance around and show off the body I've worked hard to keep nice after two kids if I so please." She commented. She put the children back down on their feet. She was glad he still had some sense of protectiveness over her. But she'd be damned if she admitted that to him. She leaned down for her soda, holding it behind her back again. "Thanks, but no thanks. I'm going to go see if the library has another book or two I can finish."

Cameron snorted, he was getting pretty tired of her comments. "I didn't say I didn't like it. I said I would rather you had pants on if you came with us." He replied as calmly as he could. He ran a hand through his hair before looking to the kids. "Are you two ready to go eat?"

"The point is, no one cares what you do or don't like." She had the same sinking feeling she'd had so many times recently, that maybe they really weren't meant to be together. That was fine, she supposed. She wasn't all too worried about it. It bothered her, sure. She wanted her daughter to have parents who could tolerate each other. But that may never happen. She started back towards her room, picking at the label on her bottle.

Cameron rolled his eyes before bending over to pick up Mikey. "What kind of milkshake do you want after dinner?" He asked, trying to do anything besides thinking of Chelsea. He was trying and all she did was throw it back in his face. His eyes shifted from the two kids and then back to watching where he was going.

Chelsea looked back when Adrienne exclaimed 'Strawberry!' and Mikey followed with 'Vanilla!' She looked down at the orange soda in her hands, wondering if Cameron remembered just how many he'd brought of these for her when she was pregnant with their daughter. He'd probably done tons of midnight runs to Jack In The Box and to the store around the corner for orange juice, tacos, and chili cheese dogs. And japaleno poppers. "I love you.." She whispered, watching him walk away with the kids.

After all of their running around, the kids were still hyped up and packed full of energy. Cameron chuckled, the two of them could entertain him all day long. He opened the door to the dinning hall and followed in after Adrienne.
"Do you two ever run out of energy?" He asked, exiting the dinning hall behind the two bouncing kids. It had been one day and already, Cameron adored both Adrienne and Mikey. He lead them back to Chelsea's room, knocking on the door a couple of times.

Chelsea looked up from her book at the knock on the door. She put her book down on her blankets, pushing her dark rimmed glasses up her nose as she walked to the door. She opened it, smiling down at the kids. "Look what the cat dragged in." She teased, running her fingers through their hair as they ran in.

"They ate everything on their plate, and I gave them a milkshake." It was all he could think of to say when Chelsea opened the door. He didn't have much to say to her. He couldn't be nice, she would just ignore it, and he couldn't be mean, that would just start a fight.

"You guys are picking favorites! You never eat everything for me!" She complained, reaching up to pull the pencil out of the bun on the side of her head. Her read hair fell down over her shoulders, and she looked over at Cameron in question. "Aren't they staying with you? I packed their things."

"Yeah, if they want." His eyes coasted down to Adrienne and Mikey. "We don't have to go right now if you want to spend time with them." Cameron scratched the back of his head as he looked back up to Chelsea. Why couldn't they just get along? He sighed and shoved his hands deep into his jean pockets.

She nodded for him to come in, then walked over to her blankets. She sat down, putting the pencil on the night stand. "What did you do today?" She asked them, hugging her knees to her chest as she listened to them both go on about their day and what they did with Cameron. They seemed excited, and she was glad they'd had a good time. She reached over to pick the picture of Cameron up off the floor, handing it to Adrienne.

He followed them in and pulled the door closed behind him. Leaning against the wall, Cameron watched Chelsea curl up on the floor. Every so often, he would switch to Mikey or Adrienne, but his gaze always ended on Chels. "What did you do with your free time?"
