Mikey nodded. Adrienne wiggled out of his arms, reaching up to take his hand. She started to pull him towards their room. "Mommy!" She called when she spotted Chelsea. Chels turned around, waving to them.
"Giving you back already?" She asked, reaching over to play with Mikey's hair. Mikey shook his head, smiling up at Cameron.
'We need our swim suits please.' Mikey said, and she nodded, handing Cameron the key. "I've got to go get the rest of our laundry. The kids will show you where everything's at."

Cameron smiled as his little girl pulled him along. It was clear to see that he adored her. Mikey wasn't so bad either. Cam was starting to become quite fond of him. It helped that the little boy liked him. He grinned as his eyes fell on Chelsea. "Thanks, Chels." Almost tempted to kiss her cheek, he grabbed the key and took Adrienne's hand. "See you later."

Chelsea patted his back before she rounded the corner. She was still madly in love with the boy. It was hard not to be. His smile was contagious and his eyes were so dark and cunning and the way he moved just.. drove her completely insane. It was really hard to deny him. Even when they were fighting she adored him.
Adrienne started pulling him to their room like he hadn't just slept there the night before. She waited for him to unlock the door, then bounced to their dresser, pulling one of the drawers out. 'Mommy gave me this. It's you, huh?' She asked, walking back with a small picture of them.

Cameron twisted the lock and opened the door, following Adrienne into the room. He flipped on the light, letting Mikey slip to his feet on the floor. "Yeah, ha." His eyes gazed at the picture. Chelsea was trouble from the first day they met. She wanted to be on top in high school, and she didn't make that a secret. He was just a typical teenage boy who made mischief where he could. She was 'hot' and he was a 'step closer to the top,' but it was much deeper than that. Chelsea was a different girl when they were alone. She was sweet and caring. It was like being on two different planets, one at school and the other when they were home. It didn't stay that way for long as they got into more arguments. He still adored her though.
"How about we get your things, princess?" He grinned as he looked up from the pictured, ready to do something else. It wasn't what he wanted to think about right now. He wanted to have a good time with the kids.

Adrienne nodded, fishing around in the drawer for her swim suit. She handed it to Cameron, then started to look around for Mikey's swim trunks. Once she'd found them, she handed those to Cameron too, then walked to the little closer for their goggles and floaties. Both kids put the goggles on their heads and the floaties on their arms so they could carry them better. 'We're ready!' Mikey exclaimed, walking towards the door. Adrienne reached up for Cameron's hand again, walking slowly beside him to the door after her brother.

He took everything she handed him. His eyes followed their every move. They were pretty independent, and Adrienne was just like her mother in the aspect of really caring for her little brother. His toothy grin slipped onto his face as Adrienne took his hand and they followed after Mikey. "Hey, don't go to far ahead." Cameron knew he would never let the kids out of his sight, but he didn't think he would really have to worry about chasing them down. They didn't seem to misbehave that bad. "You two have a really great mom."

Mikey nodded in acknowledgement, slowing down a bit so he wouldn't be too far ahead of the other two. 'We do?' Adrienne asked, looking up at him. Her mother had always just been her mother to her. There wasn't anything more or less special about her than all the other mothers in the world. 'She's just our mommy. She takes good care of us and stuff.' She told him, looking up at him with bright, happy eyes. The two kids were spoiled as much as Chelsea could manage. And that was clear with how they acted.

"Not everyone gets a mom like that though." He looked down at Adrienne, squeezing her hand gently. "If I tell you something, can you keep it a secret?" It was hard not to see Chelsea when he looked at the two kids, it could be the way they acted or their genetics. Cameron chewed on his lips, switching his gaze between the two.

Adrienne nodded at his question, watching her brother a moment before she turned her attention back to the man before her. 'I sure can. I never told mommy about the time me and Mikey snuck and extra cookie after dinner. Or the time the nice lady down the hall gave us both a peppermint.' She explained, swinging their hands back and forth. She was clearly happy just doing swim, to be in the presence of someone new.

Cameron chuckled a bit, she was quite the charmer. "I love your mom very much." His eyes had moved back to watching Mikey, Adrienne seemed fine just walking beside him. "She's very special to me." He chewed his lip and ran a hand through his hair.

Adrienne obviously didn't quite get it the way she looked up at him. 'If you love her, why don't you tell her?' She asked, walking a little faster. She reached out, grabbing her brother by the collar and hauling him back. 'Don't walk so fast!' She complained, pulling his hand into her other one. He whined, trying to pull his hand away from her's.

A soft chuckle passed his lips as Adrienne complained. Chelsea had made a mini me out of her. "I have." Cameron paused, chewing his lip. "But she's not my biggest fan now, and we don't mix very well together." He sighed. It seemed strange talking about this with a four year old, but at least she would be honest.

Chelsea had been doing nothing since the kids had gone. She'd managed to read an entire book, rearrange their clothes, and wash whatever was left of their dirty laundry. But even that wasn't enough to fill the day. Or the silence. She wanted her children back. She sighed and got up from her blankets on the floor, climbing into the shower. She got out and got dressed, then started to wander the halls. She had nothing else to do. And everything was so quiet in her own room.

Cameron was exhausted by the time it was ready for dinner. He hadn't used that much energy since his own childhood. It really made him wonder why Chelsea chose to do this all on her own. He had Mikey on one hip and held Adrienne's hand as they walked back to Chelsea's room. Cameron figured he should stop and see if she was there before taking them to dinner.

Chelsea stopped at the vending machines, grabbing herself a soda. She normally didn't bother getting anything sugary, anything more than water. She had to be a good example, right? There was two little eyes watching her. She smiled when she caught sight of them walking down the hall. He looked exhausted but as handsome as ever. Her heart pounded a little faster and she hid the bottle behind her back. "Tired?" She asked, realizing just how little she had on. She hadn't expected anyone to see her walking around in one of Cameron's old button downs.
